Aedŭi ( Haed- ), ōrum, m., a tribe in Gallia Celtica friendly to the Romans, now Departements de la Cōte d'Or, de la Nievre, [p. 53] de Saōne et Loire, et du Rhōne, Caes. B. G. 1, 10, 11, 23, etc.; Cic. Att. 1, 19; Mel. 3, 2, 4; Plin. 4, 18, 32, § 107 al.—Hence, Aedŭĭ-cus ( Haed- ), a, um, adj., pertaining to the Ædui:
